(or save on your desktop and open before you have PSP open that way you can see the font in your PSP). Preparations:
1. Open New Image 1024 by 350, Minimize for later use. 2. Open your image or use the one we provided. 3. Image - Picture Frame -
3. Click on the Crop tool: we are going to cut off the excess frame (see preview) Double click on the image to cut 4. Layers - Merge - Merge All. 5. Image - Resize: Fill in 270, Pixels, check all. 6. Edit - Copy 7. Adjust - Sharpen 8. Activate the 1024/350 image 9. Edit - Paste - Paste as new layer First we will add the small photo's 10. Image - Resize: 50, Percent, Lock aspect ratio, Do NOT check Resize all layers 11. Image - Adjust, Sharpen 12. Go to your layer palette, click on raster 2 with your righ mouse button and choose: Duplicate
13. Repeat Duplicate again, Copy Layer of raster 2
14. Now we have 3 small images 15. The third image we will resize again: Image - Resize - 80 percent, no need to change the other settings.
16. Chose the Mover tool and move the images to their spot
Now we will add the big photo 17. Edit - Paste - Paste as new layer *If needed move the layer with the big image to the top of the layers in your layer palette. 18. Image- Rotate - Free Rotate, with these settings: Left, Free, 25. NO other check marks! 19. Use the Mover tool to place all images into the right position. When it's all in it's place: 20. Layers - Merge - Merge all visible. 21. Effects - 3D Effects - Drop Shadow , with the following settings: V: 8, H: 9 , Opacity: 24, Blur: 2.
22. Layers - New raster layer 23. Choose white as your foreground color 24. Flood fill - Fill your 1024/350 with white 25. Choose black as your foreground color 1. click on your layer palette on the black color 2. place a checkmark in Texture 3. Look for the L_K71 4. Angle 180, Scale 100 26. Flood fill your 1024/350 with the L_K71 texture, you might have to repeat that a few times to make it really black 27. Layers - Arrange - Send to bottom. 28. Layers - Merge - Merge all layers. 29. For your text: choose black as your background color 30. Click on your Text button , find the Filmstrip font
31. Click on your image and while you keep the Shift button pressed you type your text (The film strip font is a CAPS font) Move your text with the mover tool to its place. 32. Effects - 3D effects - Drop shadow with these settings V: 2, H: 2, Opacity: 24, Blur: 2, Color: Black 33. Layers - Merge - Merge all layers. Done! Here's another example:
