Needed:

  • filter FFormula, honeycomb: Here (this is one standalone file, which can simply be saved as PSP filter):
  • filter fm tile tools: Here
  • filter simple: Here
  • if wanted, filter scribe: Here

The Scribe filter is not always needed to be applied for it depends on your used image. Sometimes the Simple filter can be enough.

Preparation:

  • With Shift + D, duplicate your image 3 times, so we have 4 images in total! Don’t forget!!!
  • Hide 3 of these images from view (with the _ option)

Image 1:

With Image – Resize, change your longest image size to 250 pixels, with everything checked (maintain aspect ratio and resize all layers).

1. Effects – Blur – Gaussian blur, 35

2. Effects – Plugins – FFormula – Honeycomb, with size set to 3

3. Effects – Plugins – FM tile tool – Blend emboss, ok

4. Edit – Copy

This image may now be closed (it will be kept in your computer’s memory!)

Image 2 (the frame):

Change the image size as you did with image 1… longest size set to 250 pixels, and everything checked.

Effects – Sharpen – Sharpen.

Choose a background color from this image.

5. Image – Add borders, size 2, symmetrical

6. Magic wand, select this border

7. Effects – 3D effects – Inner bevel, with these settings:

8. Effects – Plugins – FFormula – Honeycomb, size set to 3

9. And again Effects – 3D effects – Inner bevel, same settings

10. Image – Add borders, size 20

11. Magic wand, select border

12. Edit – Paste – Paste into selection (your first image will be pasted into this selection now)

13. Selections – Invert

14. Effects – 3D effects – Drop shadow, with these settings (and repeat afterwards with horizontal and vertical set to -1):

15. Image – Add borders, size 2

16. Magic wand, select border

17. Effects – 3D effects – Inner bevel, same settings

18. Effects – Plugins – FFormula – Honeycomb, size set to 3

19. Effects – 3D effects – Inner bevel, same settings

20. Image – Add borders, size 28

21. Magic wand, select border

22. Edit – Paste – Paste into selection

23. Selections – Invert

24. Effects – 3D effects – Drop shadow, same settings (and also repeat with horizontal and vertical set to -1)

25. Image – Add borders, size 2

26. Magic wand, select border

27. Effects – 3D effects – Inner bevel, same settings

28. Effects – Plugins – FFormula – Honeycomb, size set to 3

29. Effects – 3D effects – Inner bevel, same settings

Selections – Select none, and put this image aside for a while

Image 3 (the background):

Resize this image, with ‘maintain aspect ratio’ UNchecked, to 1024 width and 400 height

30. Effects – Blur – Gaussian blur, 35 (but may be higher up to 45)

31. Effects – Plugins – Simple – 4 Way average

Now you can use Effects – Plugins – Scribe – 4 Way mirror too, but you have to decide for yourself which you like best.

32. Effects – Plugins – FFormula – Honeycomb, size set to 3

32a. Effects – Plugins – FM tile tools – Blend emboss, ok

Now activate your image 2 again

33. Edit – Copy

Activate your background image

34. Edit – Paste – Paste as new layer

35. Layers – New raster layer (here we are going to put our clone onto)

Image 4:

Take your last image and activate it.

Image – Resize, longest side set to 500 pixels with everything checked.

36. Click on your ‘Clone-brush’

37. Go to your ‘Tool options’. Adapt, depending on the size of your image en what you want to clone out of it, the size of your brush. This will be different for everybody, so check it out for yourself.

38. Put all the other settings to what is showing in the next example picture:

39. Put your circle over the part of your image that you want to clone

40. Press your right mouse button

41. Activate your background image

42. Put the circle where you want to get your clone

43. Click with your (left) mouse button so your cloned image will show up

The more often your click, the better your image will show up.

When you move your clone circle while you are clicking, you will see more of your original (#4) image.

Do be careful, so you will not get any borders to show up. But does this happen, then just ‘Edit – Undo’ and try to move the circle a little bit away from that edge.

Done!!! :<))
