Thanks Croidin for all your wonderfull hard work, hugs lisette en karin.

Needed:

  • L&K preset shapes,
  • (frame2, bolletjes lijn2 -a line of circles- bolletjes lijn4: here
  • Tubes, lady and flower: here
  • Eye Candy 3 plug-in: here
  • Presets for lights: here (put this in your presets map. There’s a zipped file for PSP7 and one for PSP8)
  • Flaming Pear plug-in (check under free plugins by Flamin Pear, and put them in your ‘plugins\flaming_pear’ map): here
  • example table Script : here

Preperations:

  • Choose a light color from your tube, and set it as foreground color: we took #BEB4B3
  • Choose a dark color from your tube, and set it as background color: we took #6C5252
  • Turn on ‘Rulers’ through ‘view’ (or use ctrl-alt-R)
  • Turn on your status-bar, so you can see the coordinates for your presets: view / toolbars / status

1.Open a new white image, sized 350 x 350

2.Layers / new raster layer

3.Click on your ‘preset shapes’ button

Find the L_Kframe2, with these settings:

  • Retain checked
  • anti alias checked

4.Put your mouse pointer all the way to the left margin, at 0. Then go a little bit down, to 15 (see the red dot on the example image, below). Then keep your left button pressed and draw the frame to 360 – 332 (this is OUTSIDE your image, but makes a nicer frame when done like this!!)

Now you have this:

5.Layers / New raster layer

6.Find the L&Kbolletjeslijn4 preset shape (this line comes at the bottom of your image)

7.Begin a little bit off to the right (see red dot, below), coordinates 15 – 320, and draw your line to 336 – 332 (second example, below):

8.Effects / Plugins / Flaming Pear / Kyoto color, with these settings:

9.Now the little balls are grey, so we can colorize them.

Adjust / Hue and saturation / Colorize, choose the dark background color that suits your lady image (we chose 252 (hue) – 28 (saturation))

10. Effects / Illumination Effects / Lights, with as preset ‘L&K les Ishie’, and press ‘ok’

11.Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 3 / Drop shadow, with these settings:

12.Layers / New raster layer

13.Click on the button for ‘preset shapes’ and search for the ‘L&Kbolletjeslijn2’ preset. Check the settings first: ‘retain style’ NOT checked!!

14.Begin at 5 – 5, in the upper left corner (see red dot)

15.Draw your line of balls until approximately 349 – 21

16.Effects / Illumination Effects / Lights,

and search for the 2nd preset ‘L&K les Ishie 2’, then press ‘ok’

17.Effects / Plugins / Eye Candy 3 / Drop shadow, same settings

18.Layers / Merge / Merge visible

19.Now activate your flower tube

20.Image / Resize, with everything checked, and height approximately 260,

but if you use a tube of your own, you need to check it out for yourself

21.Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colorize, same settings (252 – 28, as we used on the ‘L&Kbolletjeslijn4’ preset)

22.Edit / Copy

23.Edit / Paste / Paste as new layer (on the background image we made before), and put the flower on a nice spot

24.Effects / Distortion effects / Wind,

with a checkmark at ‘from left’ and strength 87

25.Effects / Distortion effects / Wave, with these settings:

We’re going to give this layer an accent with an extra color

26.Adjust / Hue and Saturation / Colorize, choose a completely different color from your lady tube (we chose red, as it’s also a color on the lady tube:

4 (hue) – 121 (sat)

27.Lower the layer opacity a bit, depending on the tube you used (we used 80)

28.Go again to Edit / Paste / Paste as new layer (as your flower tube is still in the memory)

29.Put your tube on the image. As you can see we put it a little to the left, so you can see the waves nicely

30.Activate your lady tube (she’s already at the correct size).

If you use a tube of your own, make the height maximally 305, and everything checked (image / resize… etc), but this is really depending on your choice of tube

31.Edit / Copy

32.Edit / Paste / Paste as new layer (onto the background image)

33.Set your colors at the #1 foreground-background gradient

  • angle 90
  • repeat 0
  • invert: not checked
  • style lineair

34.Image / Add borders, symmetric sized 4, with a contrasting color

35.Magic wand / select the border

36.Flood fill, with your gradient

37.Selections / Select none

You can lower this image from view for a while. We’re going to make the background now

Background:

38.Open a new white image, sized 200 x 200

39.Click on the ‘preset shapes’ button, find the L_Kframe2 preset,

and check the settings: ‘retain style’ should be checked back on!!

40.Draw your frame onto the image. This has no coordinates, so you can draw it any way you like

41.Effects / Plugins / Simple / Quick tile

42.Layers / New raster layer

43.Flood fill this new layer with white

44.Layer palette / Lower the opacity of this layer to about 50%

45.Layers / Merge / Merge visible
