For the ‘scrolling image’: 1. Open a new image sized 700 x 220 (width x height) 2. Floodfill with any color. This does not effect the results. 3. Effects / Filter Factory Gallery P / Frame 2, with these settings:
4. Choose a color from your picture as foreground and write on some paper the hue and sat(uration) (Note, they differ from this example!!!):
5. Go back to your image sized 700x220 6. colors / colorize / and add the hue and sat numbers you’ve written down. Now go to your own picture 7. Image / resize / change height to 220, maintain aspect ratio 8. Effects / Sharpen 9. Masks / Load from disk / B_CircleGradient.msk 10. Masks / Invert 11. Masks / Delete (yes, on question) 12. Image / Copy 13. Image / Paste as new layer (on your large image: 700x220) 14. Move the image a little to the left
15. Layer palette / Duplicate new layer (top one, with your right mouse button) 16. Image / Mirror 17. Image / Add borders:
18. Magic wand / click inside this new border 19. Effects / 3D effects / Inner bevel, with these settings:
20. Do not deselect but go to Filters / FM Tile Tools / Seamless Tile:
21. Selections / Select none Your scroll image is ready. Remind yourself that this image has already many kb’s, so in order “not” to go above 100kb we will make the next background now: For the background: 1. Open a new file with sizes 100 x 100 2. Floodfill with your own chosen color 3. Set Stroke color to ‘white’ 4. Airbrush (the spraycan icon), with these settings:
