This tut has been written in psp 9

Materials:

* A picture of a face or our picture: here
* Plug in VM Toolbox: here  or here
* Plug in Greg’s Factory Output: here
* L&K preset les Amanda: here
* Photo Frame: here, extract to the psp folder photo frames.

Preparation:

* Pick a colour for your foreground colour from your picture. Write down the numbers of HUE AND SATURATION.
* As your background choose a dark colour
* Make your gradient, foreground background with these settings:

1. Open a transparant 300 x 300 pixels
2. Image – picture frame: KEEP BOX TRANSPARANT CHECKED!!!
Be sure all your settings are like the example given:

3. If you don’t like the metal colour, you will have to make the following steps:
ADJUST – HUE AND SATURATION – COLORIZE
Now fill in the numbers you had to write at the beginning of the tut.

4. Use your magic wand – following settings – and click in the centre of the circle.

5. Selections – modify – expand 4 pixels.

6. Layers palette – highlight raster 1:

7. Now highlight your picture – edit – copy
ON YOUR WORKING AREA 300 x 300

8. Edit – paste – paste into selection

9. Effects – Plugins – VM Toolbox – Softborder; following settings:

10. Selections – select none !!!!!!!

11. Now highlight the layer Picture frame in your layers palette.

12. Layers – duplicate.

13. Image – resize – following settings:

14. Effects – Geometric Effects – Cylinder Vertical - Following settings:

15. Effects – Geometric Effects – Skew, following settings:

16. Image – canvas size – following settings:

17. Now use your move tool, to move this layer (copy of picture frame) to the right:

18. Layers – arrange – send to bottom!!!!

19. Layers – merge – merge visible.

20. Layers – duplicate

21. Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow – find the preset: L&K_Amandaschaduw.

22. Layer palette – highlight the merged layer:

23. Adjust – blur – motion blur: following settings:

24. Layers palette – Now highlight
the copy of merged layer

25. Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow same settings as before.
26. Layers – merge – merge visible

27. Layers – new layer

28. Layers – arrange – bring to bottom!!!!

29. Flood fill these layer with your “plain” light colour

30. Effects – Artistic effects – halftone; find your preset LK_Amandahalftoon.

31. Effects – artistic effects – topography; find the preset LK_Amandatopografie,

32. Layers – new layer

33. Flood fill these layer too with your light colour

34. Effects – plugins – VM Toolbox – circles; following settings:

35. Use your magic wand and click in the centre of the circle

36. Now on your keyboard hit DELETE

Leave the selection selected!!!!

37. Set the opacity of this layer between 60 and 80%

38. Layers – duplicate this layer!!!!!

39. SELECTIONS – INVERT!!!!!!

40. Effects – plugins – VM Toolbox – motion trail wild – following settings:

41. Effects – Plugins – VM Toolbox – Softborder – same settings as in step 9.

The Copy of Raster 2 is still highlighted!!!!

42. Lower the opacity of the layer till somewhere between 40 and 48%, it depends on what you prefer.

43. Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow, same settings as before.

44. Selections – select none

45. Layers – merge all (flatten)

46. Image – add borders: 10 – choose a totally different colour (not one of your image)

47. Use your magic wand and select the border.

48. Set your foreground on gradient again, same settings as before.

49. Flood fill the border with your gradient.

50. Effects – Plugins – Greg’s Factory Output Vol. II – Waffle – apply

51. Effects – 3D effects – Inner bevel – presets – L&K_Amanda-afschuining:

LEAVE SELECTED!!!!!!

52. Edit – copy
53. Edit – paste as new layer

54. Selections – select none
55. Image – resize; following settings:

56. Image – add borders – 2 pixels – symmetric checked – use your dark colour.
