Denise....English ..L&K

This tut has been written for psp9

 

Materials:

  • L&K_84 texture: here extract to the psp texture folder
  •  IC Net software unlimited – Convolutions Filters – Gaussian blur; here, extract to the psp folder plug-ins, to the folder unlimited; here
  • L&K_les Denise_selecties; here – extract to your selection folder
  • L&K_les denise_voorinstelling: here extract to your psp preset folder.
  • Font Agate-Bold: here extract to your fonts folder (C:\windows\fonts)

Preparation:

  • Use your ruler – View – rulers
  • Use your status bar – View – Toolbars – Status
  • This tut can be made as stationery as well as tag size 600 x 450.
  • Put your foreground colour to a very dark colour, I used #404040 (dark grey)
  • Pick a nice colour matching your picture as background colour. I used #ffba01 (orange/yellow)

1. Open a new transparent 600 x 450 (or 1024 x 450 as stationery)

2. Put your foreground colour to transparent / null (click your Pan tool when it doesn’t close)

3. Use your preset tool (or click on P on your keyboard ) go to PRESETS,     look for Denise and load.

4. Start at x: 50 y: 50 and draw your rounded square to x: 550 y : 400

5. Selections – load / save selection from disk – load L&K_les_Denise

6. Hit DELETE on your keyboard.

7. Selections / select none

8. Effects – Plug in – IC Net software unlimited – Convolution filters – Gaussian blur – apply. ** Some colours could ask for a lower Radius.

9. Selections – load / save selection from disk – find L&K-les_Denise1 – load.

10. Open your foreground colour.

11. Flood fill: Note the settings!!!

Match mode: OPACITY

12. Now flood fill the selected areas:

13. LEAVE SELECTED !!!!

14. Effects – texture effects – blinds; following settings:

15. Selections – select none! !!!!!!!

16. Effects – 3D Effects – drop shadow with the following settings:

17. Again put your foreground colour to transparent / null!!!!!!!(click your Pan tool when it doesn’t close)

18. Layer palette / close your layer (click on the eye)

19. Text tool; choose these settings:

20. Click in your working area and type in the “text entry” window the capital D. (Shift + D)

21. Layer palette – convert to raster layer.

22. Use your magic wand, EVERYTHING 0, AND EVERY BOX CHECKED.

23. Click in the centre of your D.

24. Selections – modify – expand with 2 pixels

25. Layer – new layer!!!!

26. Take your picture or tube

27 ** If necessary first resize the image. Image – resize.**

28. Edit – copy

29. Highlight your working area

30. Edit – paste – paste into selection

31. Selections – select none

32. Layers – arrange down

33. Layers – merge – merge visible

34. Effects – 3D Effects – drop shadow – same settings as before.

35. Layers – duplicate

36. Image – mirror

37. Layer palette – open raster layer 1 again!!!!!

38. Use your move tool to put everything in the right place.

 

39. Layers - merge – merge visible

** Now we only have to make a background**

40. Open your foreground colour again.

41. LAYERS – NEW LAYER!!!!!!!

42. Flood fill this layer with the dark colour

43. Put your foreground colour on a lighter colour now, but make sure there is enough difference with the dark colour you’ve used

In PSP9 you can use the triangle and shove it down until the colour is light enough.

44. Go to material of your foreground colour and check Texture.                        Find L&K84, angle 180, scale 100.

45. Flood fill with the texture NOTICE THE SETTINGS!!!!

46. Effects – texture effects – blinds – horizontal unchecked

47. Layers – arrange – send to bottom

48. Layers – merge – merge all (flatten)

49. Highlight the H@nne tube.

50. Resize this tube – image – resize and decide for yourself which size you like

51. Edit – copy

52. Highlight your working area

53. Edit – paste – paste as new layer

54 Use your move tool to place it

55 ** If you like, you can add some text to the image**

56. Put your foreground colour to transparent and put your background on the dark colour

57. Use your text tool, use size 30:

58. Type your text in the text entry box

59. Convert the vector layer to raster layer

60. Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow, same settings as before

61. If you are satisfied with the result:

Layers – merge – merge all (flatten)
