SUPPLIES:

  • Plug in kang 4 (gemBars 2) : here, plug in folder psp
  • Fm tile tools : here plug in folder psp
  • L&K selections les romy : here extract in your selections folder
  • Picture : here extract in a folder of your choice.
  • Font Helinda Rook : here, minimize in your toolbar or extract in the folder C:/windows /fonts

PREPARATION:

  • Choose a colour from your picture for the foreground colour
  • Choose the same colour for the background but one tone darker.

  • Choose a vertical picture

Open your picture:

 

1. Image / resize / 318 pixels, height, every box checked.

2. Image / add borders, 1,

(Click with your right mouse button and pick your foreground colour)

3. Edit / Copy!!!!!!!

 

4. Open a new transparent 1024 / 450

5. Edit / Paste / Paste as new layer (picture is still in cache)

* * Move your pic a bit to the left, later on we will put it in the right place * *

6. Layer / New raster layer!!!!!

7. Selections / load / save selection / load selection from disk

8. Zoom in a lot!!!! (view / Zoom In)

9. Flood fill / flood fill both of the selections with the foreground colour

10. Selections / select none

11. Use your move tool:

Place your picture exactly between the upper part and the lower part of the selection (black arrows)

Note that the stripes aside OVERLAP THE PICTURE!!!

(red arrows)

12. Layer / new raster layer

13. Selections / load/save selection / load selection from disk

Look for L&K_lesRomy_2

14. Flood fill all 32 circles with your fore ground colour.

15. Selections / select none.

16. Layer / new raster layer

17. Selections / load/save selection / load selection from disk

Load selection L&K_lesRomy 3

18. Zoom in, flood fill with your foreground colour.

19. Selections / select none

20. Layers / duplicate

21. Image / mirror

22. Drag the mirrored square to the left side, use your move tool.

Put it exactly as shown in the example

23. When you are satisfied with the result; layers / merge visible.

24. Go to Materials, change your foreground colour into foreground background gradient, sunburst, invert checked, repeats 1.

25. Layers / new raster layer

26. Selections / custom selection

27. Settings:

28. Flood fill this selection with your gradient.

29. Adjust / blur / Gaussian blur / 50

30. Selections / select none!!!!

31. Effects / distortion Effects / wind / from left / Wind strength 25.

32. AGAIN

Effects / distortion Effects / wind / from right / Wind strength 25

33. Layers / Duplicate

34. Image / flip

35. Layers / merge / merge visible

36. Effects / 3D / Drop shadow / settings:

37. Layers / new raster layer

38. Flood fill this layer with your gradient

39. Effects / image effects / seamless tiling, settings:

40. Adjust / blur / Gaussian blur / 50

41. Effects / plugins / kang 4 / gemBars 2, settings:

 

42. Effects / plugins / FM Tile tools / blend emboss

43. Layers / arrange / send to bottom!!!!!

44. Layers / merge / merge all (flatten)

Now we have to add text:

45. Pick your bright or your dark colour as background colour, (could even be a complete different colour) just what you like.

Close your foreground colour

46. Text tool: Vector / font: Helinda Rook; size 48, stroke width 1;

47. Type your text, horizontal or vertical just as you prefer.

48. Effects / 3D / Drop shadow:

You have to make your own choice because the effects differ a lot per colour.

49. Layers / merge / merge all (flatten)
