Materials:

• (Nvr) Photo Swizzle: here

• L&K sel: here
• Gradient “grijs” (from psp 9): here
• Tube: here

 

Preparation:

YOU MUST START WITH THIS GRADIENT!!!!!!

Later on in the tutorial you can colorize and choose your own colour.

1. Go to foreground material :

• Gradient : grijs (gray)
• Angle: 270
• Repeat: 1
• Invert: not checked
• Style: linear

2. Open a transparent 1024 x 450 pixels

3. Flood fill with the gradient

4. Effects – Plugins – Photo Swizzle – photo copy; following settings:

5. Effects – Plugins – IC net Software –unlimited 2.0
Special Effects 1 – Rasterlines (black and white) Threshold 150.

6. Effects – Plugins – Simple – Centre Tile

7. Use your magic wand; following settings:

8. Click somewhere in the white area of your working area. (psp8 click in both parts)

9. Change your foreground colour into white.

For your background colour :choose a colour matching your tube. We chose colour #e0b846.

10. Now go to your foreground material

• Change to foreground – background gradient
• Repeats : 3
• Style: Radial!!!!!!

11. Flood fill the selection with the gradient

12. DON’T CHANGE THE SELECTION!!!!!

13. Adjust – blur – Gaussian blur – 50

14. Selections – load/save selection – load selection from Disk – find L&K_les_Sita – load.

15. Repeat: adjust – blur – Gaussian blur 50

16. SELECTIONS – SELECT NONE

17. Change your foreground colour to BLACK

18. Layers – new layer!!!!!!

19. Selection Tool (or S on your keyboard) Custom selection

20. Fill in:

21. Flood fill / use the colour BLACK

22. Selections – modify / contract 2 pixels

23. Hit DELETE on your keyboard

24. Repeat: Selections - modify – contract 10 pixels

25. Flood fill with BLACK.

26. Selections – select none

27. Effects – 3D Effects – Drop shadow; following settings:

28. Layers – duplicate

29. Effects – Image effects – Offset; following settings:

30. Repeat: layers – duplicate
31. Repeat: Effects – Image effects – Offset, same settings as before.

32. Layer palette – HIDE RASTER LAYER 1!!!!!

33. Layers – merge – merge visible

34. Layers – duplicate

35. Image – mirror

36. Open your raster layer 1 again!!!!!

37. HIGHLIGHT YOUR TUBE

38. Resize your tube. Image – resize depends on the size of your tube

39. Edit - copy

40. Highlight your working area 1024 / 450

41. Edit – paste – paste as a new layer.

42. Use your move tool and place on a nice spot in the centre.

43. Layers – DUPLICATE

44. Image - MIRROR

45. Use your move tool again and move your second tube to the left.

46 Layer palette – put your blend mode on OVERLAY or SOFT LIGHT – this depends on your tube.

47. Layer – DUPLICATE. Move your 3rd tube to the right and change the blend mode if you want.

48. Layers – merge – merge all (flatten)
