Preparation:

• Use a square picture, if necessary use your crop tool to make it a square.
• YOU HAVE TO START WITH THESE COLOURS!!!!!!
• set your foreground to white, your background to #848484 (grey)
• Go to material, find your foreground/background gradient
• angle: 180, repeats: 0, style linear.

1. Open a BLACK image 1024 x 450 pixels
   (this layer will be an assistant)
   
   
2. Layers - new layer!!!!
   
   
3. Flood fill with your gradient
   
   
4. Effects - Plugins - L&K siteofwonders - L&K's Mayra
   upper slide on 255
   
   
   
   
5. Repeat: Effects - plugins - L&K siteofwonders - L&K's Mayra
   now the value of the upper slide is 0
   
   
6. Effects - Plugins - Pentacom - Bio: the value is 142
   
   
   
   Your Rasterlayer 1 is still activated!!!!
   
   
   
   
7. Now we will clorize the lines.
   In case you want to have white lines, skip step 8 and 9
   
   
8. Adjust - Brightness and Contrast - brightness and contrast
   ** the higher the value, the darker the lines, so fill out to your liking:**
   
   
   
   
9. Adjust - hue and saturation- colorize
   pick a colour matching your image
   
   
   
   
10. Effects - Image effects - offset
    following settings:
    
    
    
    
11. Activate your magic wand:
    All boxes checked!!!! Choose: INSIDE!!!!
    
    
    
    
12. Zoom in!!! (view - zoom - zoom in more; watch closely!!!!!)

14. Click inside the 10 boxes
    Watch out: click INSIDE the BOXES, not on the lines!!!!!!!

15. NOW SKIP ONE BOX AT THE TIME.!!!!
    DO NOT SELECT THE FIRST ONE, DO SELECT THE SECOND, FOURTH etc.
    
    
    
    
16. Activate your image
17. Edit copy
18. On your working area 1024 x 450
19. Edit - paste - paste into selection
    
    
    
    
20. Selections - deselect
    
    
21. LAYERS / NEW LAYER!!!!!!!
    
    
22. Repeat: Magic wand
    Click inside the boxes, and skip of and on 1 box

23. Select the 5 boxes in the example given:
    
    
    
    
24. Let's continue - beside the image
    Again skip on and off one box!!!
    Do not select the first one, select the second, the fourth etc.
    
    
    
    
    Now we have to change the settings of the gradient and the background colour:
    
    
25. Pick a nice background colour, matching the lines and the image:
    
    
    
    
26. Change the angle of your gradient to 90:
    
    
    
    
27. Flood fill - match mode: none
    
    
    
    
28. Flood fill the selection with your gradient:
    
    
    
    
29. Selections - deselect
    
    
30. Effects - distortion effects - wind
    From Left - 100
    
    
    
    
31. Repeat: Effects - distortion effects - wind
    
    
32. Layers - merge - merge down
    
    
    
    
33. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow; following settings:
    Colour: your dark background colour
    
    
    
    
34. Layer palette - activate your "black background layer"
    
    
    
    
35. I used a different tone of orange. It matched nicer to my image. So you'll have to decide for yourself which colour you want to use.
    
    
    
    
    
36. Flood fill your background layer with your gradient.

    the Tile value is 4
    
    
    
    
38. Effects - Plugins - FM Tile Tools - blend emboss
    
    
39. Because the backgroundlayer can be used as a background for your script, let's use it right now. Controle + C followed by Controle +V, now you have a new image.
    
    
40. Use your croptool and crop a small strip, double click and save it as jpg.
    
    
    
    On your working area:
    
41. Open the butterfly tube or one you prefer to use.
    
    
42. Edit - copy

44. Edit - paste - paste as a new layer
45. Use your move tool and place it to your liking.
    
    

Layers - merge all - flatten
