Preparation:

• Pick a very dark colour. Use your dropper tool to select one from your image. Seta as foreground colour. In the original tutorial #6D6D7C was used.
• Set your background to white.
  
  
  
  

1. Activate your image:
   (the size of the image provided is correct!!!)
   
   If you use another image: use your crop tool
   Select a nice piece of your image, use the following values:
   
   
   
   
   
   
2. EDIT - COPY!!!!!
   
   
3. Open a new transparant; size 450 x 450 (obligatory for this tutorial)
   
   
4. Selections - load/save selection - find your selection
   L&K_les Parels
   
   
   
   click: LOAD
   
   
5. Zoom in a lot!!! Use: View - Zoom
   
   
6. Flood Fill tool:
   
   Flood fill between the selected lines, use your dark colour
   
   
   
   
7. Selections - select none.
   
   
8. Effects - Plugins - Filter Simple - top left mirror, ok.
   
   
9. Magic wand: use following settings:
   
   
   
   
10. Use your magic wand and click in all four parts to select these.
    
    
    
    
11. Edit - paste - paste into selection
    (Your image is still in cache)
    
    
12. Selections - select none
    
    
13. EDIT - COPY!!!!!!
    
14. Activate your move tool:
    
    
15. Place your image in the left upper corner:
    
    
    
    
16. Lower the opacity of your layer to 22 and change your blend mode to LUMINANCE
    
    
    
    
17. Layers - duplicate
    Lower the opacity of the layer to 32
    
    
    
    
18. Activate your move tool again
    and draw this layer to the right bottom corner
    
    
    
    
19. Edit - paste - paste as a new layer
    (Image is still in cache)
    
    
    
    
20. Effects - 3D effects - dropshadow; following settings:
    
    
    
    
21. Repeat the dropshadow, with the following settings:
    
    
    
    
22. Now check if the layers are all placed to your liking, if not just use your move tool to replace them.
    
    
    
    
    Let's continue, highlight the upper layer in your layerpalette:
    
    
    
    
23. Layers - new layer!!!!
    
    
24. Flood fill - fill with your dark foreground colour.
    
    
25. Effects - Plugins - L&K site of wonders - L&K's Zitah, following settings:
    
    
    
    
26. Repeat: LAYERS - NEW LAYER
    
    
27. Go to Material Properties of your foreground colour, choose a foreground/background gradient, following settings:
    
    
    
    
28. Flood fill - fill with your gradient.
    
    
29. Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur - radius: 100
    
    
30. In your layerpalette lower the opacity to 60 - 70% and change the blend mode to HARD LIGHT.
    
    
    
    
31. Layers - merge - merge down
    
    
    
    
32. Layers - arrange - send to bottom.
    
    
    
    
33. Image - add borders - 1, colour white.
    
    
34. Layers - new layer.
    
    
35. Activate your Picture tube tool
    Find your tube parel_teph_L&K les parel2 (or one of the others)
    Scale: 40
    
    
    
    
36. Now place a pearl at the end of a white dotted line.
    
    *use different layers, so you can use your movetool to place these pearls*
    
    
    
    **In case the pearls provided don't match the colours you're using, just colorize them, using:
    Adjust - hue and saturation - colorize**
    
37. Layers - merge - merge all (flatten)
    
    ==============================================================
    
    
    The following part is only necessary if you want to use the script.
    In case you don't want to use the script, skip this part and continue with the background.
    
    **HINT: Be sure only your image is opened in PSP. So no other images, tubes etc.**
    
    ==============================================================
    
    
    (In case you don't have your script bar open, view - toolbars - script)
    
    Go to your scriptbar, find the script L&K_les_parels1,
    click on the blue triangle and the script will start.
    
    
    
    Now your image is divided in 4 parts. Save all four as jpg.
    Attention!!!!!!: the script cut the part in the correct sequence, so save them in the same sequence.
    Place the parts in the script, follow the numbers.
    
    
38. Open a new transparent size 350 x 350 pixels
    
    
39. Flood fill / use your gradient
    
    
40. Effects - image effects - seamless tile; following settings:
    
    
    
    
    
41. Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur
    Radius: 40
    
    
42. Repeat:
    Effects - image effects - seamless tile; following settings:
    
    
    
    
43. Repeat:
    Effects - Plugins - L&K site of wonder - L&K's Zitah,
    this time with following settings:
    
    
    
    
44. Layers - new layer!!!!
    
    
45. Activate your picture tube tool find your parel_tehp_L&K les parel2.
    scale 40
    
    
46. Place a number of pearls just to your liking.
    If necessary you can colorize these pearls.
    Adjust - hue and saturation - colorize.
    
    
    
    
47. Layers - merge - merge all (flatten)
    
    If you want to use Joke's scripts you have to create a plain background.
    Open a transparent size 100 x 100 and flood fill with a plain colour. In the original tutorial the colour used is purple.
