Materials:

FM Tile Tools - here- extract in your PSP plugin folder

Lokas Artistic - here- install this plugin in the PSP plugin folder

Crack Lokas - here - put this in the folder Artistic by Lokas

Graphics Plus - here - extract in your PSP plugin folder

Alf's border FX - here - extract in your PSP plugin folder

L&K brushes - here - extract in your psp folder

Image - here - extract to a folder of your choice

Preparation:

  • choose a vertical image
  • Set your foreground colour to a dark colour, matching your tube. I take black
  • Set your foreground colour to white (or a very bright colour)

  • Activate your status bar; View - toolbars - status

1. Open a transparant - size - 430 width - 140 height

2. Flood fill - use your dark colour, I used black

3. change your colours, your bright colour (in my case: white) is now your foreground colour.

4. Activate your brush tool find your brush L&K_les_Carissa_1

5. Make sure your image is shown at 100% exactly!!!

(Use: View - zoom => zoom in to 100%)


Pay Attention!!!

6. Place your brush exactly in the centre of the image, this is a must!


Check your status bar : it should be on exactly: x:215 - y:70!!!!

7. Activate your magic wand: use following settings!!!

Anti Alias: UNCHECKED

 

8. Now click in one of the little white boxes.


9. Selections - modify - Select similar, use following settings:


10. Hit your delete key on your keyboard.


11. Selections - deselect


12. Image - canvas size

Fill in: 500 width, 345 height
Click on the arrow "up"

13. Effects - plugins - Graphic Plus - vertical mirror, click ok.

14. Repeat: Image - Canvas Size

fill in: height 400
click on the centre button

15. Find: Selections - custom selection


16. Fill in:

17. Repeat: hit the delete key on your keyboard.

18. Selections - invert!!!!
Keep selected for now.

19. Change your colours again,
your dark colour is the foreground colour

20. Activate your brush tool again, find your
L&K_les_Carissa_2

21. Zoom in !!!!!
Place the bruce exactly in the centre, let the upper and bottom touch the selection lines check example given:

22. Effects - plugins - Lokas Shadow -Drop

  • Check: Color overlay
  • Click on: Color - pick your dark colour (in my case: black)
  • Click on: Highlight - choose your bright colour ( in my case: white)

For all colours - except black - following step:

23. Effects - Plugins - Greg's factory output Vol. II - Poolshadow, following settings:

24. Selections - deselect.

25. Activate your magic wand - click in the centre of your image

Activate your image

26. ** In case you're using a large image, resize to 264 height. Do it step by step, use image - resize - 80%. Otherwise there is a possibility that your image will be distorted. If necessary: Enhance photo - sharpen.**

27. Edit - copy
28. Edit - paste - paste into selection

29. Selections - deselect

30. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow, following settings:

31. Layers - new layer

32. change your colours, your bright colour is the foreground colour.

33. Flood fill - with your bright colour

34. Effects - plugins - Alf's border FX - Border Checkers, following settings:

35. Activate your magic wand - select one of the black boxes.

36. Repeat: selections - modify - select similar - same settings as before.

37. change your colours again, your dark colour is now your foreground colour.

38. Flood fill: use your dark colour

39. Repeat: effects - plugins - Lokas Software - Drop

40. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow - same settings as before

41. Selections - deselect

42. Layers - arrange - send to bottom

43. image - add borders - 1 pixel
symmetric - unchecked
use your dark colour - following settings:

44. Now put this frame aside for a while

45. Open a new image - 1024 x 450 pixels - colour: your bright colour (in my case: white)

46. Set your foreground colour to your dark colour.

47. Layers - new layer

48. Activate your brush tool again, find your L&K_les_Carissa_3.
Place this brush on your image

49. Repeat: effects - plugins - lokas software - Drop

50. Effects - 3D effects - dropshadow, same settings as before.

51. Layers - duplicate
52. Image - mirror

53. Image - rotate - free rotate - left - 90 degrees

54. The brush on the right is a bit smaller, a piece of this brush is outside the image, otherwise there is not enough space for the frame.

55. Now activate the created frame.

56. Edit - copy this frame

57. On your 1024/450 working area:
Edit - paste - paste as a new layer.

58. Use your move tool to adjust the place of the frame

59. Effects - 3d effects - drop shadow - same settings as before

60. Layers - merge all (flatten)

Background necessary for the script:

61. Open a new image 300 x 300 pixels - colour: bright colour

62. Layers - new layer

63. Activate your brush tool and find your brush L&K_les carissa_4.
Size: between 250 - 280

64. Change your colours; make your dark colour your foreground colour,
just click once in your image

65. Check your layer palette, perhaps you would like to lower the opacity of this layer

66. Layers - merge - merge all (flatten)

67. Effects - plugin - FM Tile Tools - blend emboss

68. Effects - image effects - seamless tile - next settings:
