Colette …. L&K

 

 

Materials:

· L&K selection: here , extract these in your psp selection folder

· L&K presets: here , extract these in your psp presets folder

· Plugin Artistic (Rough Pastels): here , extract it in your plugin folder

· 5 Small tubes: here these 5 tubes have been made by ABC, here you can find his group here. Thanks ABC for your wonderful tubes :) MLG bear tubes : here

· We used script Leonie, written by Joke, you can find it under “scripts” on page 16 here.

 

Preparation:

· Find 5 not too large matching tubes

** resize these further on in the tutorial; the resizing depends on the size of your tubes. Use: image – resize. Followed by: Enhance Photo – sharpen or adjust – sharpness – unsharp mask; following settings: 1,00 – 64 – 4 **

· Set your foreground colour to a nice colour matching your tubes.

 

 

 

1. Open a new transparent, size 290 x 380 pixels.                                YOU HAVE TO USE THESE SIZES!!!!

 

2. Flood fill with your foreground colour

 

3. Selections - load/save selection – load selection from disk –                          find L&K_les Colette

 

 

4. Selections – modify – smooth; following settings:

 

 

5. DON’T DESELECT!!

 

6. Plugins – artistic – Rough Pastel; following settings:

** Unfortunately this plug in doesn’t function with all colours, you will have to experiment with this plug in, just darken or lighten your colour to solve this problem. **

 

 

7. STILL DON’T DESELECT!!!!

 

8. Effect – 3D effects – drop shadow; following settings:

 

 

9. Repeat: Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow, now with these settings:

Change your colour to WHITE !!!!

 

 

10. Selection – select none

 

11. Effects – 3D Effects – Inner bevel; following settings:

 

 

12. Image – add borders – 20 pixels – use your foreground colour !!

 

13. Use your magic wand and click in the border:

 

 

14. Selections – invert

 

15. Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow; following settings:

Don’t forget to change your colour in BLACK!!

 

 

16. Selections – select none!!

 

17. Effects – 3D Effects – Inner Bevel, same settings as in step 11.

 

18. Image – add borders – SYMMETRIC UNCHECKED!!!!

Colour is the same as before.

 

 

19. Effects – 3D effects – Inner Bevel, same as in step 11.

 

20. Reverse your colours!!!

Your foreground colour will be your background colour!!!

 

 

21. Pick a new foreground colour by doing the following:

Click on your Dropper tool (or the letter “e” on your key-board) place your mouse on the drop shadow in your image and left click:

 

 

22. LAYERS – NEW LAYER!!!

 

23. Now activate your preset shape tool and find your rectangle, following settings:

  • Retain style and create as vector NOT checked
  • Anti alias : checked
  • Width : 1

 

24. Draw a rectangle – the size is not important – we will adjust it with a preset.

 

25. Click on your Raster Deform tool (or “d” on your keyboard)

 

26. Find the deform preset L&K_les Colette

 

27. LAYER – ADD A NEW LAYER

 

28. Return to your Preset Shape tool, rectangle and draw another rectangle:

 

 

29. And again; click on your deform tool:

 

30. Repeat: Deform preset, now find L&K_les Colette1

 

31. Layers – Arrange – Move Down

 

32. Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow; following settings:

 

 

33. Layers – Duplicate

 

34. Activate your move tool, place the second bench.

 

 

35. Layers – duplicate. Repeat this three times.                                 Then put all the benches in the right place.

 

 

When you are satisfied with the result:

 

36. Layers – merge – merge all (flatten)

 

37. Tubes: The tubes – made by ABC – used in this tutorial have the exact size.

** Because the tubes have to be resized to very small, this will not be able to do with all tubes. **

38.Image – resize. Use: Enhance Photo – sharpen or adjust – sharpness – unsharp mask; following settings: 1,00 – 64 – 4 **

 

39. Activate your first tube. Edit – copy.

40.On your working area: edit – paste as a new layer.Put it in place with your move tool.

 

Repeat this with all your tubes!!!!

 

41. Place the tubes on the benches, use your move tool.

 

 

42. Layers – merge all (flatten)

 

Background:

 

43. To avoid that the tutorial would be too complicated I made one background 1024 x 500 pixels.

If you want to use the table script just cut a piece out of it.

 

 

44. Open a new transparent 1024 x 500 pixels

 

45. Reverse your colours again; the colour you choose again is your foreground colour.

 

 

46. Flood fill with your foreground colour

47. Selections – load/save selection – load selection from disk –                       find L&K les Colette_ achtergrond_sel – load.

 

48. Plug in – artistic – Rough Pastel – same settings as before

 

49. Effects – 3D effects – Inner Bevel

CHANGE THE ANGLE TO 180 !!!!

 

 

50. Selections – select none

 

51. ** If you want a stationary size 1024 then activate your frame.              Edit – copy.

On your stationary; edit - paste as a new layer.

Place it with your move tool – layers – merge – merge all (flatten) and you’re ready!!!**

 

52. ** For the table script, we continue for a while: **

 

53. Activate your crop tool

Now, cut a piece in the centre of the 1024 background, as given:

HEIGHT 500 !!!!! click on APPLY

 

54. Open a new transparent 100 x 100 pixels

 

55. Plug in – Artistic – Rough Pastel, same settings as before,

 

Now save all these items and put it in the script.
