L&K ..... Cris

Preparation:

  • Set your foregroundcolour to black
  • Here is the image provided, so you'll see an example. Might you choose to use your own image you will know what for to look.
  • Duplicate the image (using Shift + D), we need two images, put one away. We will need this for the background, later on in this tutorial.

Our water (or sea) image is already the right size, you can skip the following and go to step 3.

1. Open your image, a beautiful water- or sea landscape, resize!!!!
    width 440 - height 330, don't change these sizes!!!!!
    All the following is based on these sizes!!

    You could use image - resize, but another possibility is to use your crop tool with following settings:

3. Layers - new layer

4. Activate your brush tool and find your L&K_les Cris

     

5. Place the brushe L&K-Les Cris as high as possible in the image. Of course it can vary depending on the image.

     

     If necessary use your move tool.

6. Layers - merge - merge all (flatten)

7. Layers - duplicate

8. Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur: 55

9. Effects - plug in - L&K site of wonder - L en K's Jouri; following settings:

     

10. Use your Raster Deform tool - find your preset:

       L&K_Les Cris_1

       

11. Effects - plug in - flaming pear - flood; following settings:
       Horizon: 80 - blur: 100 - colour: black

       

12. Repeat: Raster Deform tool - preset:
       find your L&K_les Cris_2

       

13. Now pay attention!!!!
      Add the plug in Alpha Works - Horizontal FadeOut TWICE!!!!
       Effects - plug in - Alpha Works - Horizontal FadeOut: 255

       

14. Layers - duplicate
15. Image - mirror

16. Activate the tube Mtm_Lady_25_Gretry.pspimage

17. Image - mirror

18. Edit - copy

19. On your 440/330 working area;
       edit - paste as a new layer

       

20. On your layerpalette lower the opacity to somewhere between 50 - 95, depending on the tube you         are using.
        In this example the blendmode was set on screen, but this too depends on the tube you're using.
        You have to decide what's to you liking, just play with blendmode and opacity.

21. Image - add borders - 1 pixels - colour black.

         

22. Now, set your frame aside till later on in this tutorial.

Background:

23. Activate the copy of your water or sea image

24. Image - resize
       fill in: 1024 x 475 pixels,
     lock aspect ration: not checked!

       

25. Adjust - blur - radial blur, following settings:

       

26. Activate your free hand selection tool:

  • Selection type: point to point
  • Mode: Add
  • Feather: 40!!!!!
  • Anti alias: checked.

       

27. Now start from 1, draw a line to 2, then go to 3, 4 and 5 and return to 1.
       Double click with your mouse and you will have a selection.

       

28. Keep selected - Effects - plug in - flaming pear - flood, following settings:
       Horizontal: 0, Blur 25

       

29. Selections - select none.

30. Effections - plugins - Plugin Galaxy - Sunshine.
       check yourself for Intensity and Brightness, again it depends on the image you are using.

        

31. Layers - duplicate

32. Effects - Plugins - L&K site of wonder - L en K's Jouri, same settings as before.

33. Raster Deform Tool - preset:

34. Be sure you choose the right preset!!!!!!
       Find your L&K_les Cris_achtergrond.

       

35. Repeat: Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - flood, following settings:
       Horizon now on 90, blur on 100!!!

        

36. Activate your Raster Deform Tool - presets
       Be sure to choose the right preset!!!!
       Find your L&K_lesCris_ achtergrond_1

37. Repeat AGAIN TWICE
       alpha works - Horizontal FadeOut !!!!!
       Effects - plugins - alpha works - Horizontal FadeOut - 255

38. Layers - duplicate
39. Image - mirror

40. On your layers palette lower the opacity of both layers between 50 - 85
        dependent on from which side is the bright side of your image.
        In this tutorial I took the left side: opacity on 54
        right side: opacity 64

        

41. Activate your frame:

42. Edit - copy
43. On your 1024 x 475 working area - edit - paste - paste as a new layer.

44. Use your move tool: shove the frame a bit higher.

       

45. Repeat: Effects - Plugins - Flaming Pear - Flood
       The bottomline of your frame should "just" touch the water
       Just check your own horizon!
     check auto preview to see the result
      Blur should be on 100

        

46. Activate your tube Mtm_Lady_25_Gretry.pspimage

47. Edit - copy
48. On your working area - edit - paste - paste as new layer.

49. Use your move tool to put the tube to your likings.

50. Layers - merge - merge all (flatten)
