Diana ..... L&K

 

 

Materials:

  • L&K_lesDiana_patr.psp / picture / tubes: here. Extract these files to a folder of your choice
  • L&K brush_lesDiana_blokjes: here, extract in your PSP brush folder
  • L&K masks: here. Extract to your PSP mask folder
  • Plugin dsb flux: here
  • Plugin L&K Kathlyn: here
  • Plugin Greg Factory output Vol. II: here. Extract all your plugins to your PSP plugin folder.
  • Font Margaret: here. Extract in C:\windows\font or in a folder of your choice, open the font and minimize it.

Preparation:

  • Set your Foreground to an average colour (avoid a dark colour) which will be a nice background fore your tube.

  1. Open a new transparant 500 / 400
  2. Flood fill - flood fill with your foreground colour
  3. Effects - plugins - L&K Kaithlyn, following settings:

4. Layers - new layer.

5. Activate your psp file L&K_lesDiana_patr.

6. Go to the foreground colour material, open pattern and find the file L&K_lesDiana_patr. Angle 0, scale 100

7. Flood fill - flood fill your layer with the L&K pattern

8. Lower the opacity of this layer to 30.

9. Layers - new layer!!!!!!

10. Selection tool custom selection

11. Fill in:

12. Set your foreground back to your foreground colour and flood fill your selection with the colour.

KEEP SELECTED!!!!

13. Layers - Load/save mask - load mask from disk. Find your mask L&K_LesDiana_1_horizontaal. Use the following settings:

14. Layers - merge - merge group

15. Go to your layerspalette, lower the opacity to 84 !!!!

Change your blendmode to screen

16. KEEP SELECTED!!!!!!!

17. Layers / new layer!!!!!

18. Now open a nice landscape image: our image has the correct size!!

19. Use your crop tool and select a narrow horizontal piece, see image given.

20. Click on apply or double click in your image

21. Edit - copy your image

22. Activate your 500 x 400 working area

23. Copy - paste - paste into selection

24. Layer - load/save mask - load mask from disk. Find your mask L&K_lesDiana_2_horizontaal.

25. Layers - merge - merge group

26. Lower the opacity to 80 and change the blendmode to Luminance

27. Selections - select none!!!!

 

28. Layers - new layer

29. Activate your selection tool custom selection:

30. Fill in:

31. Flood fill - flood fill the selection with your plain foreground colour

32. Selections - select none!!!!!!

33. Effects - edge effects - ERODE

34. Effects - plugins - dsb flux - Tiler; following settings:

 

35. Layers - load/save mask - load mask from disk and find your mask L&K_lesDiana_verticaal

36. Layers - merge - merge group

37. On your layer palette lower the opacity of this layer to 28 and change the blendmode to MULTIPLY

 

38. Effects - plugins - EyeCandy 3.1 - drop shadow; following settings:

39. Layers - new layer!!!!!

 

40. Activate your airbrush tool and find your L&K_lesDiana_blokjes brush

41. Place the brush on your image as example given:

42. Layers - merge - merge all (flatten)

43. Effects - plugins - Xero - serious fog. I used the following settings, but it could differ, so you will have to check these.

44. Reverse your colours, so your foreground colour is now your background colour.

45. Make your foreground transparant ( use your pan tool if necessairy)

 

46. Activate your text tool

  • Vector: checked
  • Direction: Vertical and left
  • Font: Margaret
  • Size: 72
  • Stroke width: 1,0

47. Kerning is set to 0,425, the space between the letters will be smaller this way. The bigger the number behind the comma, the closer the placing of the letters.

If you can't find kerning, just click on the little black triangle:

48. Click somewhere in your working area and type a capital S in your text entry (use size 72)

49. Now change the size to 48

50. Now type the rest of the word ummertime

51. Use your move tool to place it

52. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow; following settings:

53. Effects - Plugings - Greg Factory Output Vol II - Pool shadow. Check yourself which settings to choose, depending on the light fall on your text.

54. Repeat text,

Direction: horizontal and down

Size: 72

Kerning back to 0 again

55. Type 2005 in your text entry box

56. Repeat: Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow; same settings as in step 52.

 

57. Again: Effects - plugins - Greg Factory Output Vol II - Pool Shadow, choose your own settings!!!

58. Use your move tool to place it.

 

59. Activate the AlexandreTube~Gerbera2.pspimage (flower)

This flower has the correct size.

**If you use your own tube, resize the tube, using image - resize**

60. Edit - copy

61. Activate your 500 x 400 working area

62. Edit - paste - paste as a new layer

63. Place the flower to your liking, use your move tool.

64. Lower the opacity of the flower layer to 22 - 30.

65. Open the yellow~NC.pspimage tube (lady), the size of this tube is already correct.

**If you use your own tube, resize the tube, using image - resize**

66. Edit - copy

67. Activate your working area

68. Edit - paste - paste as new layer

69. Use your move tool to place this tube

70. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow; same settings as in step 56.

71. Image - add borders - 1 pixel, use a dark colour matching your image.

 

BACKGROUND

72. Open a new transparant 400 x 400 for the tabel script

If you prefer a 1024 x 450 background, just adjust the transparant, the method is the same.

73. Flood fill with your foreground colour

74. Effects - plugins - L&K Kaithlyn; following settings:

'Binnen cirkel' (inner circle) 0

75. Effects - image effects - seamless tiling; following settings:

76. Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur - Radius 27

77. Repeat: effects - image effects - seamless tiling. Now check MIRROR

78. Layers - new layer

 

79. Go to foreground material - pattern - find your pattern L&K_lesDiana_patr

80. Flood fill this layer with the pattern

81. Lower the opacity of this layer to 12

82. Layers - merge - merge all (flatten)
