• 2 L&K tubes: herePreparation:
• Our tubes have the right size
• If you choose to work with your own tubes you will have to resize them, use image – resize – height 279, all boxes checked.
• Choose a light foreground colour, this will be the frame and background colour, I used #fde6bd
• Set your background colour to black.
We used script Mac, written by Joke, you can find it hier
1. Open a transparent 350 x 428 THESE SIZES ARE OBLIGED!!!!
2. Pen tool
; following settings:

3. Now draw in the centre of the transparent a small straight line, approx.
1 centimeter (if necessary click on your shift key on your keyboard)
4. LET THE BUTTONS DO THE WORK, SO DON’T TOUCH ANYTHING!!!
5. Button: Object Selection Tool 
6. Position on canvas: find the button: CENTER IN CANVAS:
Now it should look like this, centred nicely
7. Image – canvas size; following settings:
Fill in: 507, 428 - pixels and click on the arrow
<==,ok.
8. Layers – duplicate!!!
9. Image – mirror
10. Layers – merge – merge visible
11. Repeat: image – canvas size
Width: 610, click on the centre button!!!
12. Activate preset shape rectangle
(G on the keyboard)
13. Click the button: DRAW SQUARE:
- create as vector
- width: 2,00
- anti alias : not checked
14. Now draw a small square: as given below
Make sure that there is equal space both on the left and the right side.
15. Layers – duplicate – repeat
this 5 times, so 6 copies in total:
16. Button: Object Selection Tool
(O on your keyboard)
17. Button: Space Evenly Vertical:
18. Layers – merge – merge visible
19. Layers – duplicate.
20. Image – mirror
21. Repeat: layers – merge – merge visible
22. Effects – plugins – eye candy 3.1 – chrome
• Click in Base Color
and choose your dark background colour
• Highlight Color; choose your
foreground colour.
• Adjust your settings:
23. Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow; following settings:
24. Layers – new layer!!!!
Still don’t touch a thing!!!!!
25. Selection tool ==> Custom selection
Fill in:
Put this aside for a while, we now activate the tubes
27. Activate your first (the lady) tube: OUR
TUBES HAVE THE RIGHT SIZE
** If you are using our tubes, skip this and go to step 29. **
If you are using other tubes: the maximum height
is 279 pixels!!
I’ll show you what I did with our tubes:
28. Click Selection tool – rectangle 
Select a narrow piece of your tube (otherwise it will deform too muc)
29. Edit – copy
30. On your working area (610 x 428)
31. Edit – paste into selection
32. Selections / deselect!!!!
33. Layers – duplicate
34. Image – mirror
35. Repeat: selections – custom selection:
Fill in: 236 and 373 (top and bottom don’t change)
36. Now activate the second tube (the man). Ours
has the right size!!
If you use ours, skip step 37.
37. Selections – and repeat what you have done with the first tube.
38. Edit – copy
39. On your 610 x 428 working space
40. Edit – paste – paste into selection
41. Selections – deselect
42. Layers – merge – merge visible
43. Layers – new layer!!!!!!
44. Flood fill – fill this layer with your foreground colour
45. Activate your script bar and find L&K_Les_Mac, click on the blue triangle:
46. Effects – plugins – Simple – zoom out and flip
47. Layers – duplicate!!!
48. Effects – plugins – simple – blintz
49. Layers – merge – merge down!!!
50. Effects – plugins – eye candy 3.1 – chrome – default settings
51. Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow - same settings as in step 23.
52. Layers – merge – merge down!!!
53. Layers – arrange – send to bottom
54. Activate your move tool and move
the images a bit lower.
Be careful with the lower boxes!!!!
55. Image – add borders 2 – in a totally
different colour
56. Activate your magic wand – select your border, feather and tolerance 0
57. Flood fill – use your foreground colour
58. Effects – plugins – eye candy 3.1 – chrome – default settings.
59. Selections – deselect
60. Effects – plugins – Xero –
serious fog, following setting:
Maybe 103 will be too little or too much, so check these settings:
Background:
61. Open a new transparent 1024 x 480
62. Flood fill with your foreground colour
63. Activate your script bar again – find L&K_Les_Mac and click the blue triangle again.
64. Effects – plugins – Simple – zoom out and flip
65. Layers – duplicate!!!
66. Effects – plugins – Simple – blintz
67. Layers – merge – merge down!!!!
68. Effects – plugins – Simple – Half Wrap
69. Effects – plugins – Eye Candy 3.1 – chrome – default settings
70. Layers palette – reduce the opacity to 24.
71. Layers – merge – merge all (flatten)
72. Effects – plugins – FM Tile Tools – blend emboss
73. Now copy your frame – edit – copy
74. Activate your background – edit – paste – paste as a new layer
75. Move with your move tool and place it to your liking
76. Effects – 3d Effects – drop shadow: following settings:
77. Layers – merge – merge all (flatten)
