1. Open a new WHITE image 500 x 400 pixels. 2. Effects – plugins – VM Natural – Lakeside Reflection, ok. 3. Image – flip 4. Repeat: effects – plugins – VM Natural – Lakeside reflection, Waves on 0 and Blending on 255!!!
5. Adjust – hue and saturation – colorize – everything 0
6. Effects – Illumination Effects – Sunburst, following settings: Color:#f5d49b
7. Effects – Plugins – Ulead Effects – Particle Click on: LOAD
8. Click on the button: CLOUD 1
ACTIVATE YOUR TUBE HILLS1 9. Edit – copy 10. Activate your 500 x 400 working area 11. Edit – paste – paste as new layer 12. Use your move tool and place the tube as in the given example:
13. Layers – merge – merge all (flatten)
14. Now make a copy using Shift + D and put this aside. We will need this for the background later on. we go on:
15. Layers – new layer!!!!
16. Selection – load/save selection – load selection from disk – find L&K_les Micki
17. DO NOT FLOOD FILL THE SELECTION YET!!!!
18. First: Selection – modify - shape based anti alias; following settings:
19. Flood fill:
20. Flood fill the selection with your foreground – background gradient.
21. Adjust – blur – Gaussian Blur; Radius 9,00
22. KEEP SELECTED!!!!!
23. Reverse your material: Grey is your foreground colour:
24. Layers – new layer!!!!
25. Flood fill – flood fill the selection – use your grey colour
26. Selections – Select none!!!
27. Effects – 3D effects – drop shadow; following settings:
28. Effects – image effects – offset; following settings:
29. Layers – merge – merge down
30. Now you have to make your own decision
a. You can colorize: adjust – hue and saturation – colorize and pick a colour matching your tube, or …..
b. (like I did) adjust – Brightness/contrast – (I choose -73 /-3) or combine both possibilities.
See what is the best for the colour of your tube and how light or dark you want your image to be.
31. Repeat: effects – 3d effects – drop shadow, shadow on new layer checked!!! If necessary adjust your colour!!!!
32. Button Raster Deform tool Presets: find L&K_les Micki
33. Layers palette: opacity on 16%
34. Layers – merge – merge all (flatten)
35. Put it aside for now.
We are going to make a plant pot :
36. Open a new white image 500 x 400 pixels
37. Effects – plug in – Vizros – cylinder Click on “load”
38. Find the folder and the preset for the plug in Vizros, click on the file les micki_voorinstellingen vizros.vzc, followed by: open.
39. Activate your magic wand/ feather on 1 – anti alias checked:
40. Click in the white area of your image:
41. Selections – invert
42. Edit – copy
43. We return to our working area
44. Edit – paste – paste as a new layer
We have to resize the plant pot to smooth the edges.
45. Image – resize: Following settings – resize all layers UNCHECKED!!!
46. Use your move tool to place your plant pot in a nice spot.
47. Layers – duplicate
48. Repeat: image – resize. Now fill in: 50%
49. Move this plant pot too.
Now we are going to decorate the plant pots.
50. Activate the plant tubes provided – or use some of your own. You can use everything you like, plants of course, but flowers too, use your imagination.
51. Start with the tube: Tropical planten.pspimage (The tubes provided have the right size)
52. Edit – copy 53. Activate your working area (500 x 400 )
54. Edit – paste – paste as a new layer. 55. Use your move tool and place the plant in the pot.
56. Repeat all these steps with the other plant: tropical cycad.pspimage:
57. Activate your lady tube JOB~ESTEFNIA KUESTER~4-4-04~.pspimage:
58. Edit – copy
59. Go to your working area (500 x 400)
60. Edit – paste as a new layer
61. Place your tube using your move tool.
62. Layers – merge – merge all (flatten)
63. Image – add borders – 1 pixel – pick a colour matching your image.
Put it aside for a while
Background:
64. As we started this tut we have made a copy. Now we need this one. Activate it.
65. Effects – image effects – seamless tiling following settings:
66. Image – resize:
· Choose “pixels” · Lock aspect ratio: unchecked · Fill in: 1024, 450
67. Activate your 500 x 400 frame we’ve just made.
68. Edit – copy
69. Go to your background working area 70. Edit – copy as a new layer.
71. Effects – plugins – eye candy 3.1 – Perspective shadow, following settings:
72. You could move your frame a bit if you like. Use your move tool.
73. Activate your tube Moss.pspimage
74. Edit – copy
75. On your working area: 76. Edit – paste as a new layer
77. Use your move tool to put it in a nice place. 78. Duplicate this layer and move the second moss tube too. (I have resized this one a bit)
79. Layers – merge – merge all (flatten)
