L&K's ... Faye

This tutorial is written in PSP 9 and X

Materials:

• Plug in / Ulead - particle : here - extract all your plugins to your PSP plugin folder

Preparation:

• Set your foreground to "an average dark colour" in the original tut #78814d (green) was used. In this version I used #b58ea1 (pink)
• Set your background to white.
  
  
  
• Go to material of your foreground colour
  Find the foreground - background gradient, use sunburst
  Link center and focal points UNCHECKED!
  Fill in the following settings:
  
  
  

1. Open a transparant size 500 x 500 pixels
2. flood fill with your gradient
   
   
3. Effects / image effects / seamless tiling, following settings:
   
   
   
   
4. Adjust / blur / Gaussian blur / Radius 50
   
   
5. Set your foreground to colour,
   now choose a foreground colour a bit darker than the first one (#4e5d37 green - #876564 pink) Save the number of your first colour, you will need this later on in this tutorial.
   
   
   
6. Activate your brush button (B on your keyboard)
   Find your brush L&K_les_Faye_1
   
   
   
   
7. Place your brush on your working area
   
   
   
   
8. Effects / plugins / FM Tile Tools - blend emboss
   
   
9. Effects / plugins / Ulead Particle, hit the button LOAD
   
   
   
   Choose Fog 2 and click OK
   
   
   
   
10. Now make two copies, using SHift + D (on your keyboard)
    Set these copies aside, we will need one of these later on and the other one to create a background.
    
    Let's continue:
    
    
11. Set your foreground colour to the lighter shade of green (pink)
    
    
12. Activate your brush button
    Find your brush L&K_les_Faye_2
    
    
    
13. Place this brush to the top of your working area, leaving space at the bottom,
    see example given:
    
    
    
    
14. Activate your brush button
    Find your brush L&K_les_Faye_3
    
    
    
15. Place this brush as example given:
    
    
    
    
16. Activate your brush button
    Find your brush L&K_les_Faye_4
    
    
    
17. Place this brush in the left upper corner, see example given:
    
    
    
    
18. Layers / new layer !!!
    
    
19. Activate your brush button
    Find your brush L&K_les_Faye_5
    
    
    
    
20. Place as example given:
    
    
    
    
21. Activate your deformation tool (D on your keyboard)
22. Find your presets L&K_les_Faye
    
    
    
    
23. Effects / plug in / Simple - top left mirror
    
    
24. Layers / duplicate!!!!!!
    
    
25. Image / free rotate. following settings:
    
    
    
    
26. Layers / merge / merge down!!!!
    
    
27. Effects / 3D effects / Dropshadow, following settings:
    
    
    
    
28. Activate your tube (max. height approx. 425 pixels)
    
    
29. edit / copy
30. on your working area
31. edit / paste as a new layer
    
    
32. Use your move tool / move the tube a bit down
    
    
    
    
33. Repeat: layers / merge / merge down!!!
    
    
34. Layers / duplicate
    
    
35. Image / resize, following settings:
    
    
    
    
36. Image / mirror
    
    
37. Activate your move tool and move the small copy to the right => as example given:
    
    
    
    
38. Open the small L&K bloem tube.
    (If necessary colorize - use adjust / hue and saturation / colorize)
    
    
39. edit / copy
40. on your 500 x 500 working area
41. edit / paste as a new layer
42. use your move tool to place to your liking.
    
    
    
    
43. Image / add borders / 1 pixel, use your foreground colour (green/pink)
    
    
44. Effects / plug in / photo plugins - soft focus =>
    Choose "hard light"
    The settings depend on your tube, fill in approx. the following settings:
    
    
    
    
45. Effects / plug in / Zero / porcelain, all channels 0  !!!!!!
    
    
    
    
46. Image / resize /85% / all boxes checked.
    
    
47. Adjust / scharpness / unsharp mask
    
    
    
    
48. Edit / copy!!!!
    
    
49. Activate one of the copies you made and put aside
    
    
50. Edit / paste as a new layer (the image should be still in cache)
    
    
51. Effects / 3D effects / dropshadow, following settings:
    
    
    
    
52. Layers / new layer!!!
    
    
53. Activate your brush tool find your brush L&K_les_Faye_6
    
    
    
    
54. Place the brush as example given:
    
    
    
    
55. Repeat: effects / plug in / Simple - top left mirror
    
    
56. Effects / 3D effects / dropshadow, Blur is now 2
    
    
    
    
57. Image / add borders / 1 pixel / foregrounc colour (green/ pink)
    
    
    
    Background:
    
    
    
58. Activate your second copy made in the beginning of this tut
    
    
59. Effects / plug in/ Xero Porcelain - all channels 0!!!!
60. Effects / plug in / photo plugins - soft focus, same settings as before
61. effects / image effects / seamless tiling, following settings:
    
    
    
    

Save all as jpg and place it in Jetty's script.
