L&K's ...... Maruschka

This tutorial is written in PSP 9 and X

Preparations:

Set your foreground to a dark colour
your background colour is white.

Go to your background material
set your background to gradient, find your foreground/background gradient
click on sunburst => following settings:

1. Open a transparant size 600 x 450 pixels
   
2. Flood fill with your dark foreground colour (in my case dark green)
   
   
3. Layers / new layer
   
   
   
4. Selections / load/save selection / load selection from disk, find your selection L&K les Maruschka_1
   
   
   
   
   
5. Flood fill your selection with the same dark colour
   
   
   
   
   
6. Selections / select none !!!!!
   
   
   
7. Effects / 3D effects / Inner bevel . following settings:
   
   
   
   
   
8. Magic wand: choose INSIDE!!!!
   
   
   
   click in the area on the right, as example given:
   
   
   
   
   
9. Selections / modify / contract : 2 pixels
   
   
   
10. Repeat: effects / 3D effects / Inner bevel, same settings as before.
    
    
    
11. Selections / load/save selections / load selection from disk.
    Find your selection L&K les Maruschka_2
    
    
    
    
    
12. And repeat: Effects / 3D effects / Inner bevel, same settings as before.
    
    
    
13. Selections / deselect!!!!!!!
    
    
    
    
14. Got to your foreground material
    change to gradient and find your foreground/background gradient, following settings:
    
    
    
    
    
15. Selections / load/save selections / load selections from disk
    Find your selection L&K les Maruscha_3
    
    
    
16. Flood fill your selection with your gradient.
    
    
    KEEP SELECTED!!!!!
    
    
    
17. Effects / Illumination effects / sunburst
    following settings:
    
    
    
    
    
    STILL KEEP SELECTED!!!
    
    
18. Effects / 3D effects / inner bevel, same settings as before.
    
    
    
19. Selections / deselect.
    
    
    
20. Hide your foreground colour
    (in case this won't work, just click on your pan tool (the litte hand)
    
    
    
21. Text Tool: Vector - font Augusta ES, grootte 28
    
    
    
    
    
22. Type your text or a name, place it with your move tool, as example given:
    
    
    
    
    
23. Effects / 3D effects / dropshadow:
    
    
    
    
    
24. Return to your foreground material, set your foreground on sunburst too:
    
    
    
    
    
25. Layers / New Layer
    
    
    
26. Zoom in => view/ zoom in / Go to the upper side of your image.
    
    
    
27. Pen tool Vector unchecked
    Width = 1,5 PSPX (PSP9 width = 1,00)
    
    
    
    
    
28. Press your Shift key on your keyboard
    draw a line, above your text, as example given:
    
    
    
    
    
29. Again, press your shift key on your keyboard
    draw another line, below your text, as example given:
    
    
    
    
    
30. Layers - merge - merge all (flatten)
    
    
    
31. Layers / new layer!!!!!!
    
    
    
32. Zoom in / go to your right upper corner
    
    
    
33. Repeat: pen tool
    Press your shift key again
    draw a short line, as example given:
    
    
    
    
    
    
34. Now draw a second line, as example given:
    
    
    
    
    
35. Effects / 3D effects / Dropshadow, same settings as before.
    
    
    
36. Layers / duplicate
    
    
    
37. Move tool / move the copy lines in the bottom area, as example given:
    
    
    
    
    
38. Layers / new layer
    
    
    
39. Selections / load/save selection / load selection from disk
    Find your selection L&K les Maruscha_4 (don't fill!!!!!)
    
    
    
40. Effects / artistique effects / Balls and bubbles /
    Find your preset L&K_les_Maruscha_psp9
    
    
    
    
    
41. Selections / SELECT NONE !!!!!
    
    ***in case you are using your own tube and/or different colours, you should colorize the button now. Use: adjust - hue and saturation - colorize***
    
    
    
42. Layers / duplicate
    
    
    
43. Effects / Image effects / offset
    following settings: (second ball)
    
    
    
    
    
44. Repeat: layers / duplicate
    
    
45. Effects / image effects / offset, same settings as before (third ball)
    
    
    
46. And again: layers / duplicate
    
47. Effects / image effects / offset, same settings as before (4th ball)
    
    
    
    
    
48. Layers / merge / merge all (flatten)
    
    
    
49. Change your background colour to black
    
    
    
    
50. Material / foreground/background gradient
    change to: style linear - angle = 270
    
    
    
    
    
    
51. Magic wand => click in the right area, as example given:
    
    
    
    
    
52. Flood fill your selection, use your dark colour.
    
    
    
53. Effects / Plugins / IC net software - Unlimited
    Buttons & Frames - mirrored frame, and hit ok.
    
    
    
    
54. Back to your foreground material
    change the angle to 0
    
    
    
    
    
55. Layers / new layer!!!!!
    
    
    
56. Selections / load/save selection / load selection from disk
    find your selection L&K les Maruscha_5
    
    
    
57. Flood fill the selection with your gradient
    
    
    
58. Selections / load/save selection / load selection from disk
    Find your selection L&K les Maruscha_6
    
    
    
59. Flood fill with your gradient
    
    
    
    
    
60. Selections / deselect!!!!!
    
    
    
61. Change your foreground to a bright colour matching your tube or your background
    
    
    
    
    
62. Find your tool Change to target brush (between our paint brush and your eraser tool
    
    
    
    
    
63. Click at random on some spots :
    
    
    
    
64. Open the tube Ametista_Kerguehenne_castle_10.05
    or a tube of your own choice:
    
    
    
    
65. Edit / copy
    
    
    
66. Go to your working area
    
    
67. Edit / paste as a new layer
    
    
    
    
    
68. Layerspalette / lower the opacity of this layer to 12
    In case you are using another tube, this can differ.
    
    
    
69. Open the tube provided in the zip or your own tube:
    (our tube = 318 height. The maximum height is approx 370 pixels)
    
    
    
70. Edit / copy
    
71. Activate your 600 x 450 working area
    
72. Edit / paste as a new layer
    Use your move tool and place your tube to your liking.
    
    
    
    
73. Activate the tube L&K_les Maruschka_2
    or your own tube.
    
    
    
    The tube provided is the right size, in case you're using another tube, resize if necessary.
    
    
74. Edit / copy
    
75. Return to your working area
    
76. Edit / paste as a new layer
    use your move tool and place this tube.
    
    
    
    
77. Image / add borders / 4 pixels / use your dark colour.
    
78. Effects / 3D effects / inner bevel, same settings as before.
    
    
    BACKGROUND
    
    
79. Open a new image 200 x 200 pixels
    use your dark colour (in my case dark green)
    
    
80. Layers / new layer
    
    
81. Set your foreground to your dark colour again
    background to white
    
    
    
82. Set your foreground to gradient, change to sunburst:
    
    
    
    
83. Pen tool same settings as before = width 1,50 PSPX (PSP9 width = 1,00)
    
    
84. Draw a little line, as in example given:
    
    
    
    
85. Effects / Distortion effects / wind
    
    
    
    
86. Effects / 3D effects / dropshadow, same settings
    
    
87. Layers / merge / merge all (flatten)
    
    
88. Effects / Image effects / seamless tiling, following settings:
    
    
    
    
    
    

Save all as jpg and place it in Jetty's script.
