L&K... Spring

This tutorial is written in PSPX

 

materials:

  • preset belichting : hier, zet in je map voorinstellingen van psp
  • Tube Hanne : hier, dank je wel Hanne voor de prachtige tube:) je vind haar tubes hier

Preparation:

  • pick a dark foreground colour  matching your tube, Lisette used#71821a - I used#17323f
  • pick a light background colour matching your tube Lisette used #dce86a - I used#96cfce

    find your foreground/background gradient,
    following settings: angle= 270, repeats=1

background:

1.open een transparent size 600 x 430
2.flood fill/ use your gradient

3.effects / plug in/ Neology - Vasarely Mosaics, value = 86

4.effects / plug in/ Frischluft - Musaic Plane..
following settings;

5.effects / edge effects / enhance more

6.effects / Plug in Graphics plus - Horizontal Mirror, ok.

7.Now make a copy ( use Shift +  D on your keyboard)
of this background, we will use it for the backgroundlater on

put both images aside for now  ...

 

8.open a ne w transparent size 340 x 240
9.flood fill/ use your gradient

10.open the tube: (size of the tube provided= 328 x221)
In case you prefer to use another one, resize if necessary.

11.edit / copy
12.on your 340x240 working area
13.edit / paste as a new layer

14.use your move tool / place your tube

15.effects / 3d / dropshadow, following settings

16.image / add borders 1, use your dark colour
17.image / add borders 25, use a different colour

18.magic wand:

19.activate your 25 border

20.flood fill/  use your gradient

21.image / add borders 1, use your dark colour
22.selections / select none

23.edit / copy !!!

24.activate your 600 x 430 background we just made
25.edit  / paste as a new layer

26.effects / 3d / dropshadow,
opacity 50 , blur 100

27.Swap your material, x out your background
(activate your pan tool ( =>hand) in case it won't work)

28.Preset shapes - rectangle =>Retain Style - unchecked
Create as vector checked !!

29.draw a nice rectangle => be sure the space around your image is the same on all sites

30.objects / align - centre in canvas, so the image is placed in the right way

31.effects / 3 d / dropshadow, following settings:

32.layers / merge / merge all flatten

33.effects / illumination effects  - lights

34.open your background colour


35.Click on your background material
and change your angle to 0, invert checked!!!
 

36.repeat; preset shapes=> rectangle

37.now draw a rectangle as in example given:
Cover the upper site of the illumination with the rectangle, to hide it

38.layer palet / promote to rasterlayer

39.effects / Plugin Eye Candy 5 impact - glass
find your preset L&K_les Spring

40.change your foreground colour to your plain dark colour

41.activate your pen tool ; Creat on vector checked

42.zoom in a lot

43.Now draw two little vertical lines, as in example given:



44.layers / arrange / move down

45.image / add borders 1, use your dark colour
46.image / add borders 50, use your bright colour

47.magic wand, activate your border

48.adjust / blur / motion blur

49.effects  / reflection effects/ rotating mirror,
following settings;

50.effects / edgeeffects / enhance

51.selections / invert

52.effects / 3d / dropshadow,following settings

53.repeat: effects / 3d / dropshadow , only now use -9,-9

54.keep selected !!

55.effects / 3d/ buttonize

56.selections / select none

57.image / ad borders 1, use your dark colour

 

Background 1:

58.open now the copy background we put in a previous state of this tut
59.selection tool  => custom selections


60.fill out:


61.image / crop to  selection

background 2:

62.open a transparent size 100 x 100
flood fill with a plain colour.

save as jpg and fill all out in the script.
