L&K ... Elvida

Materials:

  • Plug in FM Tile Tools: here
  • Plug in Eye Candy 5 Impact: here
  • Preset Eye Candy 5 Impact: here. Extract this preset to your Eye Candy 5 Impact folder - settings - Glow. (The manual settings are given in this tut too)
  • Plug in L&K Elvida: here
  • Plug in Artistic - Film Grain: here
  • Tubes L&K Elvida: here. Extract to a folder of your choice
  • Brushes L&K Elvida: here. Extract to your PSP Brushes folder
  • Preset Illumination - Lights PSPX: here/ PSP9: here. Extract to your PSP preset folder

Preparation:

  • Set your foreground to a very dark colour matching your tube
  • Set your background to a very light colour matching your tube.
    (Make sure both colours have the same tone, make them match)


  1. Open a transparent size 400 x 400
  2. Flood fill - use your dark colour.

  3. Effects - Plug in - Artistic - Film Grain - following settings:



  4. Go to materials (foregroundcolour) and make a gradient -
    in the drop down menu find foreground/background
    use the following settings:



  5. Selections - Load/Save selection - Load selection from disk
    Find your selection L&K_les_Elvida



  6. Flood fill - fill your selection with your gradient:


  7. Keep selected!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Repeat: effects - plug in - Artistic - Film Grain
    Same settings as before.

  9. Selections - invert
  10. Effects - Plug in - L&K site of wonders - Elvida - value 157:




  11. Repeat: selections - invert

  12. Effects - Edge effects - enhance

  13. Selections - select none

  14. Reverse your materials - make your light colour your foreground colour.



  15. Activate your brush tool: find your brush L&K_les Elvida
    use following settings:


  16. Stamp your brush on your working area:



  17. Repeat: brush tool,
    Find your brush L&K_les Elvida 2


  18. Stamp your brush on your working image as example given:



  19. Effects - Illumination effects - Lights
    Find your preset L&K les Elvida
    *by changing the value for Darkness you get less light, the effect of the light differs per colour, so in case you are using a tube of your own, you will have to decide which value you like.*

    Should you plan to use Joke's script, make a copy (Shift + D) and put it aside for later on in this tutorial.

    Let's move on:

  20. Open your tube: L&K les Elvida meisje (or your own tube) Height has to be 400 pixels.

  21. Edit - copy
  22. On your 400 x 400 working area:
  23. Edit - paste - paste as a new layer.
  24. Use your move tool to shove your tube to the right.
    (In case you use your own tube it may be you have to play a bit with the opacity of the layer. Just to your liking.)



  25. Open your tube L&K les Elvida:
    (If necessary use: adjust - colour and saturation to get a colour matching your image.)

  26. Edit - copy

  27. On your working area:

  28. Edit - paste - paste as a new layer

  29. Use your move tool, to place this tube at the left side:




  30. Image - add borders - 1 pixel - use your light colour

  31. Edit - copy!!!!

  32. Image - add borders - 35 pixels - use your dark background colour

  33. Activate your magic wand, "INSIDE "



  34. Click in the 35 pixels border

  35. Edit - paste - paste into selection

  36. Adjust - blur - Gaussian blur - Radius: 70

  37. KEEP SELECTED!!!!!



  38. Image - add border - 15 pixels - use your dark colour

  39. Selection - invert!!!!!

  40. Effects - Plug in - Alian Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - gradient glow
    Preset L en K les ELVIDA



    In case you have problems working with this preset, use the following procedure:
    Click on Black and White Stripes, this is a default setting,
    Go to the tab "Basic" and change the settings:



  41. Selection - select none

  42. Image - add borders - 1 pixel - black

    Put this aside till later on.

  43. Open a new transparent, size 620 width and 550 height

    Reverse your colours, your dark colour is your foreground colour



  44. Flood fill - use your dark colour.

  45. Selection - load/save selection - load selection from disk
    Find your L&K les Elvida 2
  46. Do not flood fill!!!
    Repeat: effects - plug in - Alian Skin Eye Candy 5, Impact - gradient glow - preset L&K les Elvida

  47. Selections - select none

  48. Magic wand: click in all the three parts:



  49. Effects - plug in - Artistic - Film Grain - same settings as before.
    Keep Selected!!!!!

  50. Effects - plug in - FM Tile Tools - Blend emboss - apply
    Keep Selected!!!!

  51. Repeat: Effects - Illumination Effects - lights - same settings as earlier

  52. Selections - invert

  53. Effects - 3D effects - drop shadow; following settings:



  54. Selections - deselect!!!

  55. Repeat: Effects - plug in - Alian Skin Eye Candy 5: Impact - gradient glow,
    preset L en K les Elvida

  56. Activate the frame you put aside earlier

  57. Edit - copy

  58. On your working area:

  59. Edit - paste - paste as a new layer

  60. Image - add borders - 1 pixel - black.

    Activate the background you put aside earlier:
  61. Effects - image effects - seamless tiling:



  62. Open a new transparent size 100 x 100 pixels
  63. Flood fill with your dark colour
  64. Effects - plug in - Artistic - film grain - same settings
  65. Effects - plug in - FM Tile tools - blend emboss - apply
  66. Effects - image effects - seamles tiling - same settings
    Save these three images.
