preparation: During the tut you can colorize so you can choose a colour matching your tubes and image.

  • Go to Material properties ->
    gradient -> bhw harvest
    Repeat on 1

 

1.Open a black image size 700 x 500

2.selections / load/save selections / load selection from disk
find L&K_Carmen_1

3.floodfill /
flood fill with your gradient

4.selections / deselect !!!!

5.effects / plugin /  mura 's meister  - copies

6.effects / edge effects / enhance more

7.effects / plug in / simple -top left mirror,ok

8.Return to your gradient
Repeats on : 0

9.selections / load/save selection / load selection from disk
find L&K_Carmen_2

10.Now zoom in quite a lot!!!! ( view - zoom in)

11.flood fill your selection 
12.selectioss  / select none

13. magic wand: Box inside!!!!!!
 

click inside the two area's

14.flood fill  : flood fill with your gradient

15.effects / texture effectd / blinds,
following settings:

16.selections  / deselect

17.In case you're using your own images ->
colorize: adjust / hue and saturation / colorize
find a colour matching your image and tubes.

18.Now make a copy, using shift + D -> we will use this for the background later on.

Let's continue:

19.magic wand -> click inside the centre area:

 

20.layers / new layer !!!!!!

21.Get your "plaatje_les_carmen: or the one you prefer.

22.edit / copy

23.On your 700x500 working area
24.edit / copy in selection

25.selections / deselect

26.Swap your material,
hide your foreground colour !!

27.text tool : font-> An Unfortunate Event, create as : Vector !!

28.click in the upper area of your image, as example given:
type : goodmorning or a text you prefer:

I wrote summer

29.If necessary: adjust / hue and saturation / colorize, same settings as before

30.effects / 3d / drop shadow, following settings,
Colour = white

31.effects / filter / Mura's  meister - Perspective Tiling

32.layers / arrange  / move down

33.layers / merge - merge all flatten

 

34.Repeat :  text tool-> size now 36
 and type :  wake up (or a text to your liking) on your working area

35.place this text, as example given:

36.layers palette / promote to raster layer

37.effects / plug in / penta.com - VTR, hit ok

38.if necessary, adjust / hue and saturation / colorize, same settings as before

39.effects / 3 d/ drop shadow, following settings:
colour = black

 

40.layers / duplicate

41.move tool : move the text to the right:

42.reverse your material:

43.layers  / new layer

44.brush tool: find L&K_les_Carmen


stamp your brush on your working area:

45.if necessary colorize, same settings as before

46.layers / duplicate
47.image / mirror

48.open the tube Misted_filly_ (747) Flower.pspimage  I used this tube
In case you're using your own images, colorize now.

49.edit / copy

50.Activate your 700x500 working area
51.edit / paste as a new layer

52 move tool / place the flower
53.layers palette / lower the opacity at approx. 40 - 50 (depends on your tube)

open your tube MH~the_black_pearl~10-09-05.pspimage
height=587 or use own of your own.

I used this one

54.edit / copy
55.Activate your 700x500 working area
56.edit / paste as a new layer

57.layers palette / lower the opacity to approx. 40% (depends on your tube)

58.move tool / move to the left

59.open the tube Tube_filly (898).pspimage height=491

this is my choice

60.edit / copy
61.Activate your 700x500 working area
62.edit / paste as a new layer

63.move tool/ move the tube to your liking

64.effects / 3 d / dropshadow,
Check yourself for a nice setting, the settings depends on the tube your using.
In the original tut Lisette used following setting:


 

65.image / add borders, 1 pixel,
colour = pick a dark colour matching your image. In the original Dutch tut Lisette chose #A2582B (orange - brown)

Background:

66.open the copy you made earlier in the tut
67.layers - new layer
68.activate your brush tool, find your brush L&K_les_Carmen
69.stam the brush on your image

70.if necessary -> colorize, same settings as before
71.layers / duplicate
72.image  / mirror
73.layers - merge all flatten
74.effects / image effects - seamless tiling, following settings:

 

Export all as jpg and fill out the script.
