This tut is made for PSP 8, the standard version.

• 3 Vertical images matching together: here
• L&K Les Demi, PSP 8 script trusted: here

BACKGROUND:

 

1. From the 3 images pick number 1, the one with the head; this will be the bigger image.

2. Image / resize / width 250 pixels / everything checked.

3. Image / add borders / 2 pixels / pick a very dark colour from your image

4. Edit / copy


5. Open a new white image 1024/ 400 TRANSPARANCY NOT CHECKED

6. Edit / paste / past as new layer

7. Leave the image centred; it has to be put in place very precisely.
Using a selection the image will be positioned on the right place.

8. Selection Tool / Rectangle / feather 0

9. Fill in:


10. Use your move tool en place your image exact in-between the lines.     Zoom in, to help you divide the space,

11. Selections / select none

12. Open a new image 350 x 24, transparent NOT CHECKED

13. Image / ad borders 1 pixel with the same dark colour.

14. Edit/ copy

15. Highlight your 1024/ 400 image

16. Edit / paste / past as new layer

17. Leave the rectangle centred for now

18. Effects / Distortion Effects / wind: settings:

19. Use your move tool

20. Place the rectangle on the upper side of your image, as example

21. Layers / opacity for this layer is 58


22. Layers / duplicate

23. Image / flip

24. Layers / CLOSE YOUR BACKGROUND

25. Layers / merge / merge visible layers

26. Layers / New Layer

27. Foreground colour pick the colour of the border (2) around your image. Or the colour of the rectangle boxes.
Click in your foreground colour and keep your dropper tool on the border to get the exact colour.

28. Pen tool, settings:

• width : 1,00
• anti alias: NOT checked

29. Draw 2 small stripes, as example:

30. Layers / Duplicate

31. Move Tool: enlarge the image by zoom. Put the lines on the other side of the image, as example

32. Layers / merge / MERGE VISIBLE LAYERS

33. Effects /3D effects / Drop shadow; settings:

34. Layers / open your background layer again.

35. Save this image in .jpg.

36. The text beneath concerns both images left

37. Now resize both images to exact the same size. If necessary use your crop tool.

38. Click the button crop tool, draw the part you want to use

39 Note the height and width. I used: 400 with / 500 height. (pixels) But this could vary.

 

40 Highlight the other image, fill in width and height, use your crop tool and resize this image too.

41. After resizing both images exactly the same size, continue: both images / image / resize / height 135 pixels, everything checked.

42. Either image / image / add borders 1 pixel / use the dark colour used before.

43. Both images: enhance photo / sharpen
Now there are 2 very small images with a border.

We leave them for a while and proceed with:

 

44. Open a new image 200 / 400 TRANSPARENT NOT CHECKED.

45. In your script bar (image / toolbars / script) search for the L&K script_Les Demi script, then click the blue triangle.

46. If necessary: adjust / hue and saturation / colorize.
Look for a colour matching the “borders” of your images.

47. Highlight one of the small images.

48. Edit / copy

49. Highlight the 200/ 400 image

50. Edit / paste as new layer

51. Place the image exactly on the lines
as example:

52. Highlight the other small image.

53. Edit / copy

54. highlight your 200 / 400 image

55. Edit / paste as new layer

56. Now place this image exact on the lines too.

57. When everything is placed properly:
layers / merge / merge visible layers

58. save as a gif file

59. Go to : gif optimizer

60. Use the wizard


61. Next

62. Next, next

63. Next again, then save as gif file.

Position this file on the “scroll plaatje” in your script.
