preparation:

  • put your foreground to black, obligatory !!!
  • put your background on a colour matching your tube / Use a bright colour in this tut!!
  1. find your image L&K plaatje les Loreen
    this one has the right colour yet !!


  2. In case you choose to work with other colours go to adjust / hue and saturation / colorize, find a colour matching your tube, as this one:


  3. edit/copy (you can close the image Loreen now)


  4. open a new black image size 624 x 420 ( obligatory ).


  5. edit / paste as a new layer


  6. layers / duplicate


  7. selections / load/save selection / load selection from disk,
    find your selection L&K _les_Loreen_1, following settings:




  8. hit your Delete button on your keyboard


  9. selections / deselect


  10. layers palette / change the blend mode to - > multiply



  11. layers / new layer


  12. flood fill / fill this layer with black

  13. layers /load/save mask/ load mask from disk, find your L&K_ les_Loreen_1
    Pay attention to the settings, these differ from which you're accustomed to!!



  14. layers / merge / Merge group

  15. effects / image effects / offset, following settings



  16. Go to your layer palette / change the blend mode to Overlay



  17. Now we go to illumination effects, sunburst. You will have to figure out which colour to use. In case you work with a red colour then look for a very bright red, did you choose yellow find a yellow colour an in case of a blue colour pick a bright shade of blue or a light bright colour matching your image. So check for yourself which is the best.

    Effects / Illumination effects / sunburst..following settings
    check "example on image "/in case working with psp 10  hit "proof"
    so you can see the effect before hitting ok.

     psp 10 =>   



  18. layers / duplicate

  19. image / mirror
  20. Again go to your layer palette and change the blend mode of this layer to Normal



    activate your flower tube mc743 (612 x 393 ) : or one of your own choice.


  21. edit / copy

  22. back on your 624x420 working area

  23. edit/ paste as a new layer

  24. select (k) / place the tube


  25. layers palette / change the blend mode to Overlay

  26. layers / new layer

  27. selections /load/save selection / load selection from disk/ find L&K_les_Loreen_2


  28. Flood fill /
    fill all the boxes with the colour black

  29. layers palette / change the blend mode to Colour


  30. selections / deselect

  31. Go to your foreground material
    change to a foreground/background gradient (or Corel_06_029) following settings:



  32. layers / new layer !!!!!!!

  33. brush tool /

    find L&K_les_Loreen_1 stamp the brush as in the example given:


  34. layers palette / change the blend mode to : Screen


  35. layers / duplicate

  36. layers / merge / merge down

  37. swap your colours:


    stay on this layer!!

  38. Brush tool/
    find L&K_les_Loreen_2 and stamp as in the example given



  39. layers / arrange / move down

  40. layers / merge / merge all (flatten)

  41. change your foreground colour to white


  42. layers / new layer

  43. selections / load/save selection / load selection from disk
    find selection L&K _les_Loreen_3

  44. flood fill / fill with white


  45. selections / deselect

  46. effects / deformation effects / wind-> from left -> 100


  47. effects / deformation effects / wave


  48. layers palette / change the blend mode of this layer to : Colour


  49. layers / duplicate
    change the blend mode of this layer to : Normal and lower the opacity to 28


  50. layers / new layer

  51. brush tool /
    find L&K_les_Loreen_3 and stamp this brush exactly as in the example given
    attention!!! Stamp the lines exactly over the grey area, if necessary use your move tool


  52. layers / new layer


  53. brush tool/
    find L&K_les_Loreen_4
    stamp this brush 3 times as in example given:



  54. layers palette / lower the opacity to approximate. 40

  55. layers / new layer

  56. selections / select all

  57. selections / modify - contract => 20
  58. selections / modify - select selection borders



  59. flood fill / fill your selection with white
  60. layers palette / change blend mode to: color

  61. selections / deselect

  62. image / add borders 1, colour = black

  63. image/ resize, 580 -288 / pixels
    lock aspect ratio unchecked !!


  64. edit / copy !!!!!!


  65. We have to reset our colours now, as we start to create the background image.

    Material =>Foreground colour


    dropper tool / use your dropper tool to pick a colour of the bar in your image, make this your foreground colour.

    Material=> Background colour :
    set your background colour to a very bright colour (in Lisette's version red, in mine blue)
      

  66. again open a black image 750 x 468 (obligatory)


  67. layers / new layer

  68. flood fill / fill with your foreground colour

  69. effect / plug ins / BorderMania - Flat Solid,


  70. effects / plug ins / Almathera- Halo -> set to White, following settings:



  71. effects / plug ins / Van Der lee - Unplugged X,
    set to Raster, Colour = black , following settings:



  72. effects / plug ins / Fm Tile Tools- Saturation Emboss, following settings (approximate.)


  73. Optional: you could colorize your background. Use: adjust - hue and saturation - colorize

  74. edit / paste as a new layer (image is still in cache)

  75. effects / 3d / drop shadow



  76. layers / new layer !!!!!!


  77. swap your material: make the bright colour your foreground colour ( Lisette used red, I used blue)


  78. brush tool
    find L&K_les_Loreen_5
    stamp this on your image as in the example given ( if necessary use your move tool to place it correct)


  79. effects / filter / simple - top left mirror

  80. effects / 3d / drop shadow


  81. layers / arrange / move down


  82. layers / merge / merge all (flatten)

  83. x out your foreground colour (click on your pan tool if it won't close)

  84. text tool : font AKOsaru / size 36 - Pixels / bold / as vector


    type a text, for instance: Wherever you are - we be all there, or one you like.

  85. move tool / place the text where your like it, depends on your tube too


  86. effects / 3d / drop shadow,same setting as before

  87. layers palette / lower the opacity (to your liking)

    activate your tube (or one of your own -max height 460) Marif_2006_octobre_lady073

  88. edit / copy
  89. back on your working area
  90. edit / paste as a new layer
  91. move tool / place your tube


  92. image / add borders 1, colour = black

The background:

  1. swap your material
  2. open a new image 101 x101
  3. flood fill / use your foreground colour
  4. image / add borders 1, colour = black
  5. effects / plug ins / fm tile tools /Saturation Emboss, same settings as before

export as jpg and fill out the script.
