Needed:

  • PSP8
  • Filter IC net software / Unlimited : here
  • Fm tile tools : here
  • Filter eye candy 3 : here
  • Tube’s we used: here
  • Brushes L&K : here. Put these in your map ‘brushes’ for PSP8
  • Presets for the brushes: here. Put these in the map ‘presets’ for PSP8

If you do not know exactly where to put the brushes and presets, read this info first: here

Preperations:

  • This time we use presets: this way you don’t have to search for your brushes or change the settings on the brushes; “if they are stored in the correct maps on your PSP”, the settings will be changed automatically
  • Choose a light color from your tube, for instance light blue or light green, as your foreground color
  • For your background color choose a darker variation of your foreground pick. Make sure there’s enough contrast between the dark and light colors.

Click inside your color palette – go to ‘material’ – click on the ‘gradient’ tab and choose the ‘#1 Foreground-Background’ gradient with these settings:

Angle 0, repeats 0, invert UNchecked and Style linear

1.Open a new image, sized 340 x 300

2.Floodfill, fill with your gradient

3.Effects – Illumination effects – Sunburst, with these settings:

4.Reverse your colors, so your background color is now your foreground color and your foreground color is your background one. STILL with the gradient!

5.Layers – New raster layer

6.Click on your airbrush button

7.Now click on the small black triangle on Presets: choose brush_lk23 and click ok

8.As you can see, PSP8 now searches for this brush and also adjusts the presets on this brush for you

9.Place your brush on your image

10.Go back to your airbrush-presets and choose brush_lk24, and ok

11.Place this brush on your image

12.Again go back to your presets and choose brush_lk25

13.Place this brush on your image too:

17. Go back to your airbrush presets

18. Click on brush_lk26, and ok, and place it on your image

19.Effects – Plugins – Eye Candy 3.1 – Drop Shadow, with the same settings

20.Layers – Arrange – Move down

21.Layers – Merge – Merge visible

22.Layers – New raster layer

23. Back to your airbrush presets

24.Choose brush-lk27, press ok, and place it on your image

25.Reverse your colors so your light color is the foreground color!!!

26. Back to your airbrush presets

27.Click on brush_lk28 and ok, and place on your image

28.Take your own tube, or this lesson’s car tube

29. Resize this tube with Image – Resize, to what size you like best

If you like to add a little extra still, that’s possible, but it requires a bit of patience. So if you don’t have enough patience, simply forget the next ;-)

Put your color back to the dark color
