| Explanations for brushes and presets:
In case you don’t know where to put your material after you uploaded a zip-file, here’s the explanation. In our case it explains about the brushes and presets, but it goes for any material we use with PSP, of course.
Open PSP8 Go to File Preferences File Locations In the list that shows up, click on ‘brushes’ which can be found on the left hand side
Check where on your list, on the right hand side, the small dot (the checkmark) is positioned. The last map on the line next to this dot, is which you need!!!
In Lisette and Karin’s original tutorial, they have those maps also linked to their PSP7 maps, which is perfectly okay but NOT necessary!!! Just check carefully what is linked for you! Check the same on your presets, for this is where your presets have to be stored. This is the map where your preset files should be stored.
In fact, this is the way to check for anything where you have to store your assets (backgrounds, gradients, masks, tubes, etc), on whatever tutorial you are following.
